I know it is a common issue for a lot of women, and it often goes undiagnosed, but I really just wish someone would just tell me they have it too.

Just so we can hug and be scared together and have someone else understand what that feels like.

I’m not an IRL friend, but I have it. And it scares me sometimes. But it’s also just another reason to keep trucking when weight loss seems impossible. It’s also extremely manageable and can be virtually undetectable when at a healthy weight or with mild hormone therapy. (birth control OR fertility drugs.) But if you’re ever feeling down about it, I’m around.

  7. Running for Fun: On running slower than typical on a long run or training run...

    runnyknows:

Run for distance rather than time. By saying that, I mean that it is much more beneficial to you to run 10 miles @ 10min/mile and it be comfortable rather than run those same 10 miles @ 9min/mile and feel terrible for 2-3 days afterwards. When you run above your easy pace these…

lolololol. When I see things like this, I feel terrible. “Run slow at 10 min/mile.”  12.5 min/mile is a freaking dash for me. 10 min/mile is what I would run if I were being chased by an axe murderer.

  8. You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage - pleasantly, smilingly, nonapologetically - to say ‘no’ to other things. And the way to do that is by having a bigger ‘yes’ burning inside. The enemy of the ‘best’ is often the ‘good’.

Headstand Helper!  You can do it!  Here is the step by step!  Don’t jump into headstand or any inversion for that matter!  Lift and breathe.  You’ll feel calm and easy the whole way and have a lot more chances of “sticking it” than if you launch yourself.  Headstands are fantastic for circulation, calms the mind, stimulates brain activity, and boosts creativity and improves mood big time.

thank you Tara!!!!

I’ve always wondered how people start doing this pose!

I want to do headstands!
